Good Karma Club

Good Karma Club is about the dream to better oneself and the world entire. When we make a change for the better, there's a number of obstacles that must be overcome - our past habits, misdeeds. Our protagonist, Graham, struggles with his flaws when he wrangles together a group of friends to help him open a restaurant.

Writing and directing Good Karma Club was simultaneously the most enjoyable, stressful, exhilerating experience of my life. Together for 13 nights, the cast, crew, and I slept under the same roof, shooting for sometimes over 12 hours a day.

There is no better method to master filmmaking than to plain and simple make a film. Theory and strategy can only go so far, eventually the time comes to put ideas to execution. I learned more during two weeks of shooting than years of studying production.
