Pura Vida Cruises takes passengers down the Jaco river from San Jose to Tortugueru National Park. In anticipation of a sophsticated Rails app with QR scanner, the managers have requested a Sinatra app to act as MVP while making the transition from paper ballots to high-tech.
To accomplish the indended functionality, initial migrations of user, ship, and passenger models & controllers are created. Next, the Active Record associations between the models - specifically CruiseShip has many Tourists, while Tourist belongs to CruiseShip.

The User model has many CruiseShips, allowing an admin to control the creation of the fleet.
